We provide support--and family support--at home or in a care facility. We offer light housekeeping services to help our clients with daily activities. This way, seniors can stay at home in a safe and clean environment. Home Care does not provide all services a client may need, but can help arrange other supports provided in your community. A case manager works directly with the client and is responsible for assessing the client’s needs, and ensuring the overall coordination of care and services. Everything we do at AHS reflects a patient and family centred approach; it’s about putting patients’ and families’ experiences, priorities and trust first.
In addition, AHS provides community mental health services with a new 18-bed treatment centre opening to assist those struggling with addiction issues. Nurse Next Door home care is an affordable and caring solution for the busy family to keep loved ones happy and healthy at home. People working for AHS enjoy a strong sense of community, getting to know their colleagues, their patients and their families. We strive to provide high quality care that sees patients and families as integral members of the health care team, and encourage their active participation in all aspects of their care.
